Barkley Regional Airport Authority is currently recruiting an Aviation Marketing Manager. Under the general direction of the Airport Executive Director, the Manager manages various marketing, promotional, and community involvement programs to increase passenger, air cargo, and aircraft maintenance activities and passenger support services at Barkley Regional Airport.
Typical duties may include, but are not limited to the following:
· Manages the in-house public address system for required TSA security announcements, and video monitors throughout the terminal.
· Develops, implements, monitors, and evaluates marketing and promotional programs designed to increase airport passenger, aircraft maintenance, and corporate aviation consistent with the overall goals and objectives of Barkley Regional Airport.
· Develops and coordinates presentations to various community and aviation stakeholders.
· Designs and coordinates the Airport participation in various community events such as trade, employment, and educational fairs, Open houses, groundbreaking and ribbon cutting ceremonies, parades, and other marketing activities.
· Manages the implementation and administration of airport public relations programs including media relations and advertising programs for radio, television, social media, and newspapers.
· Act as the Airport Public Information Officer in times of Airport emergencies.
· Represents the Barkley Regional Airport Authority in civic and community programs to publicize and encourage utilization of the Airport.
· Continuously improve the Airport website and social media presence.
· Market and sell advertisements on airport-owned billboards, Airport Radio, and Video Screens. ·
Develops and implements customer service and community involvement programs.
· Develops and maintains professional contacts and relationships with other marketing representatives in the airport, airline and travel industry
· Directs the development and implementation of airport customer service surveys on an incremental basis to determine service level concerns and expectations of airport visitors and users.
· Ability to pass a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) background check, which will include a fingerprint-based Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) and a Security Threat Assessment (STA), prior to being considered for this position.
· Prepare reports, press releases, studies, and analyses, give oral presentations, and communicate effectively in oral and written format.
· Establish and maintain effective positive working relationships with coworkers and those contacted in the performance of duties.
· Exercise sound independent judgment within general policy guidelines, work under deadlines and coordinate several concurrent assignments.

· Analyze and solve problems of a complex nature, analyze complex administrative and programming information, evaluate alternative solutions and recommend effective

Qualifications
- Proven experience in marketing and public information roles
- Strong understanding of SEO and digital marketing strategies
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and content marketing
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and marketing automation tools
- Excellent copywriting and research skills
- Ability to manage budgets and generate advertising sales

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
